The Aegis Interactive Map is an interactive sound installation showcasing sights and sounds from the area surrounding Boxpark, a pop-up mall in Shoreditch, London.

Visitors are encouraged to explore the four zones of the map, with photos and field recordings from various points within each zone being shown when the visitor hovers the mouse over each one.

The original brief for the installation was to highlight “what is important to protect in the changing landscape of Shoreditch and its environs.” It was created for the 20//20 Collective, and in collaboration with Soosan Lolavar, who helped conceive the concept, and collected all photos and field recordings.

It was originally exhibited on 2nd and 3rd of June 2012 as part of the Uncontained series of artist take-overs in Boxpark.
